Lifestyle and Fashion Professional
Fashion expert for over 30 years, nonprofit volunteer, health coach, entrepreneur
In a nutshell I have been in fashion since I was 16-that is, working in fashion. I’ve had a love for fashion and travel since I can remember. It is important to me to give back. I volunteer in a beautiful non-profit called Compassion That Compels. It helps women all over the world going through cancer. I want to continue to give back and that’s why a portion of my proceeds go to them. You can find out more about this non-profit at https://www.compassionthatcompels.org
I spend my life with my husband, he’s my person I’m blessed to have found and the most incredible Husband and Father to my two wonderful bonus kids (young adults now). I’m a fashionista who specializes in self-care modalities and firmly believes in the power of positive thinking, fashion for my lifestyle and not the runway, and that everyone is able to find peace and acceptance in fashion using the right techniques. Consulting others in self-healing modalities and fashion have been an amazing process of self-discovery. My Mema (Grandmother for Northerners) was great at caring for herself through holistic ways but loved shopping and traveling the world. She loved sunflowers so that’s part of my logo. My Mom (Penny) was great at being fashionable but practical and never left the house without accessorizing. They both were even more beautiful inside than their most fashionable days! I learned from the best and miss them every day.
My knowledge comes from over 25 years working for major retailers. But fashion should be timeless, smart, sexy, and affordable! There are always options to get a look you see on the runway without paying hundreds more for the name on the label.
Find Your Clothing Comfort Zone:
I have a kind of eclectic style, but it tends to be more edgy when going out with my husband, glamorous when I go out with my girls or comfy but cute when working from home just in case someone stops by! I experiment in combining looks. Mixing up sporty and edgy or taking an everyday outfit and glamming it up with accessories is fun to me. I wear what I love and what I am comfortable with and so should you. Trends aren’t for everyone and they’re called ‘trends’ for a reason, they’re here and gone in a blink so keep your fashion fluid with timeless pieces and add a piece here and there to “trend”. There’s one thing you cannot skip and that’s self-love. From meditating for a few minutes a day or week (no pressure) and caring for your emotional health, skin and what you consume is the most important part of staying beautiful! Fashion is just an accessory to what’s going on within us.
Let me know how I can help you stay beautiful!
